Buildium Announces Fundraising Campaign to Benefit Haiti Relief Efforts

Boston, MA, February 26, 2010 (PRWEB) – In response to the ongoing needs in Haiti, online property management software company Buildium today announced a fundraising campaign to benefit the Partners In Health (PIH) Stand with Haiti initiative. Buildium started the campaign with a $1,000 donation, with the goal of raising an additional $1,000.

PIH established the Stand with Haiti initiative to provide an immediate and ongoing response to the thousands of Haitians who have been left injured and homeless in the wake of the devastating January 12 earthquake. The proceeds of Buildium’s campaign will be used to support PIH’s 20 operating rooms throughout Haiti (which provide 24-hour service to those who need medical attention), a triage and relief transfer system, the transportation of medical volunteers to Haiti, and long-term relief and resolution.

Says Buildium co-founder Michael Monteiro, “Buildium is supporting Partners In Health because of their long-standing dedication to improving the lives of Haitian citizens. They understand the country and its culture and how to provide the most effective healthcare and relief possible.”

Those interested in making a donation can do so through Buildium’s website at www.buildium.com.
