Evicting tenants is never fun, and the myriad of steps one needs to follow can be a minefield. One misstep along the way can be disastrous.
For example, in some states you have to start the eviction process all over again if you accept a partial payment from a tenant you’re trying to evict.
To make sure that doesn’t happen, you can now prevent tenants associated with a specific lease from paying rent online.
Just go to “Payment settings” under the “Financials” tab of a lease and uncheck the EFT payment method. It’s that simple.
