Buildium India team celebrated their 5th anniversary on July 1. They spent the better part of the day giving back to their local community in Hyderabad. They held two philanthropic events for the day: a blood drive in the morning and a visit to an orphanage in the afternoon.
This was in keeping with one of Buildium’s core values: We try to leave the world a little better than we found it by volunteering and giving back to the community.
The blood drive, held at Buildium’s office, was opened up to neighboring companies in their office building. Thanks to flyers distributed in the building, the drive attracted nearly as many of Buildium India’s neighbors as Buildium India employees. In total, 31 people participated in the blood drive.
In the afternoon, the team visited an orphanage near the office through the Cheers Foundation. They donated books and food items to smiling children, and the team also ordered school uniforms to donate to the children.
Team India has lived Buildium’s core values to the fullest through the celebration of their 5th anniversary. We can’t wait to learn what their next service opportunity will be. Knowing their team’s dedication to our shared core values, we won’t have to wait long to find out.
