New research from the American Apartment Owners Association (AAOA) shows that 4 out of 10 renters use a mobile device in their apartment search, and, more than half of renters consider mobile tools “essential.” Which means, it’s never been more important to have a mobile-friendly marketing site for your company.

Well, with Buildium’s new responsive website option, it’s never been easier for prospective tenants and owners to view your website, no matter where they are or what device they’re using. Once you opt in, Buildium will automatically optimize your content to fit the screen size of any device, plus larger images can be flipped through in a mobile-friendly gallery.

These changes will make it easier for prospects and residents to navigate your site, and you’ll gain a competitive advantage: mobile-friendly sites rank higher in Google search results because they provide a better user experience.

All you have to do to take advantage of the new responsive website is login into Buildium and opt in!

Navigate to Communication > Public site and click “Turn on the new responsive public site” in the green banner.

Please note: switching over to the new responsive public site is one-way. Once you switch, you cannot go back to the old, non-responsive site. We’ve provided a preview option, so you can view any of your custom pages before opting in. You will be able to make modifications to the site to fit the new mobile-friendly design.
