I’m thrilled to introduce you to a new section of our blog called Built by Buildium. When my cofounder, Dimitris, and I created the first version of Buildium back in 2004, we were building it for ourselves. Truthfully, we had no idea that one day we’d have more than 10,000 customers.

Sure enough, that’s how things unfolded. And now, it’s our job to serve and delight those 10,000 customers — customers like you. We now have a team of more than 100 employees dedicated to doing just that.

We refer to our employees as “Buildians,” and these days, there are many teams of Buildians — designers, product managers, software developers, researchers, and customer service folks — all working to help small businesses like yours succeed with continuous improvements and enhancements to our software and services.

Built by Buildium is a new section of our blog, and we’ll be using it to help keep you up to date on these enhancements. We’ll also be sharing tips and tricks, and giving you an occasional glimpse into some of what happens behind the scenes to help our customers. In other words, we want you to understand everything Buildium has to offer and help you get the most from your investment.

Finally, we’ll use Built by Buildium to introduced you to many of the Buildians who work behind the scenes designing, building, and supporting the service you’ve come to know and love.

Dimitris and I are enormously proud of the team we’ve assembled, and we think the more you get to know us, the more you’re going to like us.

Stay tuned, and look for a new post in the next few days.

P.S. You may be wondering why there are old posts here if this is a brand new section of the blog. Well, we used to post information about new features on the News section of the website. We went back and took a few of those, and we moved them over here, because we thought they might be valuable to you.
